Yo i spoke with Salao the other night and we started talking about this new MMORPG Tera Online. http://www.tera-online.com/

As I'm sure many of you have heard this MMO will be different from every other MMO on the market i really encourage anybody who is down for some hardcore pvp to check this out. Along with this.. PVE is always available for the kids.

If your Interested in group gank sqauds to control the server and dictate how the game you play everyday runs this might be the game for you. This like the Old game Lineage 2 i used to play with a few others from here will have GREAT Meaning in terms of time spent on the game.

Enough talk here is a video to share:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkDxGfXKjAk&feature=related This is a group of clannies or as you say in wow "Guildies" tearing it up on a Enemy group of players as there fighting in a dungeon for turf over mobs. As you will see in the video this is a much different combat system than click and shoot as in you have to really face what your attacking etc .. Also unlike WoW there is no Factions. This is a open world with anyone being Friends or Enemies. AKA if you get fucked over by a former guildy at any time you can turn around and PK that sob till he logs off into submission.

ALL IN ALL this game really looks to set itself apart from many of the other current mmos around on the market right now. For More details check

http://www.tera-online.com/ for more info on pvp and pve aspects of the game.

On a last note ill be updating this as more info comes out. This game has been in the works for years now and is planned for 2011 Release.

I took interest in the fast paced action style combat design, an incredibly awesome idea! Outside of that though it looks cookie cutter with graphics worse than the new star wars. Will i play it? Yes i play every game ever i am all that is awesome. Will it be better than WoW? hahahahah wow es#1

Well i'm sure it will not pass the number of players that play wow but frankly having 5 million people playing a game does not make it number 1 in my eyes. This Unlike any other MMO in the past and any in the near future has a different combat system totally. This game is FUELED by Pvping and being the best on the server at it. Its totally a different mindset and concept of a game than somthing like WoW.

This will not be appealing to the casuals out there. I'm fine with that. I would much rather play a game with 1/10 the population that i enjoy and has serious meaning when time spent in it. All in All tho it looks super promising. Hopefully they dont fuck it up by being to casual with the way they make the final pvp system work.

There is no doubt there is reasons to get excited for Tera, the open pvp, the unique combat system, etc. I am just apprehensive to get too overly excited. Warhammer looked amazing in beta, Aion I followed for years, and now Tera, Guild Wars 2, and Blade & Soul look amazing.

Before I get too pumped I want to see a quality release with little to no bugs. I've signed up for betas on all I could to get an idea on these games.

As far as popularity, I personally don't give a shit. I know open PvP is not popular at all in NA, and that's totally fine by me.

I do miss this PvP--

As a game gets bigger and more popular, for the sake of profit, it will always shift to cater to casuals since there is always a larger number of them.

This game WILL appeal to casuals. If it doesn't it will fail faster than FFXIV.

There doing PVE/PVP servers for this game. The Men will play on the PVP servers and well those casual boys will be on the PVE servers.

Game looks decent - I may give it a try, as I'm currently not playing any MMOs. Frogster did Runes of Magic which was actually a pretty fun game... besides the fact that it was so damn expensive to be any good. Free to play, Pay to win.
